Love this fucking show.

Visual Quality

Karaoke.

Opening. No real issues with this. Decent karaoke.

Ending. It would be better if the romaji didn’t skip while watching it. Good enough otherwise.

Typesetting.

For the love of Wanko’s breasts, why didn’t you typeset this?

Script Quality

Karaoke.

OP/ED were fine. Only error was this one:

because “earth” should be capitalized.

Main Script.

Phrase abuse. Take out “At any rate” from the second line.

“Before rigor mortis lets up,”

Although you say what? This sentence makes no fucking sense.

No, no. He means “Our usual morning scene.” as in they look like this every morning. But that line looks like shit, so let’s just get to the heart of the phrase.

“Another ordinary morning.”

Blatantly mistimed.

This isn’t really a statement. It’s more of a “You again?” kinda thing.

I don’t really mind half-sentences. But this is like a one-third-sentence.

About my…

Goddamn fucking shitty phrasing strikes again.

“I already cleaned my room today.”

Come on, now. This reads like shit.

“I guess even a girl like Sanka has her own problems…”

This sounds way too stiff for a quick, under-the-breath mutter.

“She’s dead…”

What the fucking fuck? Does your TL speak English? Come on now. The first line needs to go.

“No. Here’s the story…” {Or something like that.}

This is going to fucking blow your mind, but a punctuation mark was invented for questions. It’s called… *drum roll* a question mark! And holy shit you’re already using it in that second sentence. I know this may be difficult for you to find on your computer, so what I’m gonna need you to do is copy that symbol at the end of the second sentence and paste it over the period. It’ll be okay. I know you can do it.

“What’s with that? What was she trying to say?”

Because she’s in the building, it’s no longer “over”.

“That’s right, since I’m already here, I’ll borrow another zombie DVD.”

I don’t believe a house can be an uproar. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

“So Rea’s house is in an uproar, huh…”

Fucking what? From what I’ve deciphered of this stupidity, they’re trying to say “But in the state Sanka’s in, she can’t return home.”

I’d normally go “So why don’t you fucking translate it as that?”, but it’s some pretty cool Japanese trivia, so whatever. I’ll let it slide~

In this scenario, it would be more appropriate to say “You’re… bleeding.”

Ugh.

“If it’s not in good taste to say,”

Nice consistency there.

Why did you change your ellipsis standard at the end?

  1. I seen a few of this reviews and although you can say that the English might not be perfect, you still get what they say.
My question is: To Whiners bothers at all with correct translation or just correct grammatically written sentences?
I think the most important is whether the translation is accurate to the words spoken and then how correctly it is phrased in English.
