Funi’s encode may not be great, but as you saw in my previous reviews, it’s better than the unwatchable alternatives.

The release trips over itself in a number of lines. Dropping “the” from “the public order” would tighten the line up significantly.

The terminology is non-descriptive, and not in a good way. If you’re going the “knight in” route, you need to have an adjective for “armor”. “the knight in demon armor” would work here, for instance. Otherwise, you’d wanna go with “the armored knight”… which isn’t very notable, since most knights are already thought of as “armored”.

Throughout the release, sentences can feel very stiff. The dialogue is rarely natural, and in cases like the above screen, the artificiality stands out like a boner in bloomers.

Watchability: Watchable.

Overall grade: Pass.

It’s not a very professional script, but it will suffice. …which is good, considering the Funimation/HorribleSubs release is your only option if you want your eyes to still work by the end of the season.

    • If you want to call me out on mistakes I make in my reviews (which aren’t exactly uncommon), you might want to look for the ones where I’m not replicating the issue as a means of highlighting the problem without having to come right out and say it.
