The party train keeps a rollin’. (Update on KnK: Kyoukai’s second party will be for episode 2 and will include all 5 fansub groups. No HorribleSubs.)

Translation Party House Rules:

Spoiler:
1. Translation Parties are intended to help you make the best subtitle choice for a given anime. Choose which line(s) you liked best by selecting them with the checkbox.

2. I split the Party into two parts — Essential and Extended. Assuming you want to get this shit over with quickly, just go with the Essential choices. I picked these to be the most representative lines in the releases. But if you’re one of those people who want more comparisons to help you come to a decision, go with the Essential choices and the Extended ones.

3. If you didn’t like any of the lines, choose the “N/A” option. The results for “N/A” won’t be automatically tabulated, so you’ll have to do the math in your head. Have my gomens and nasais.

4. A “>” indicates that another character has begun speaking. If there are three characters in a line comparison, I will indicate the third with a “>>” and so on for more characters.

5. Group order is randomized for each screenshot, every time you refresh the page. However, the “N/A” option will always appear at the bottom of the screen.

6. Your results will be summed up when you click the “Get your results” button. Feel free to vote in the poll at the end/post in the comments to let others know how you did and to compare your results with them.

7. Party hard.

It’s a preemptive drug for minor symptoms.
I recall telling you it’s rare and supply is very limited.

I heard no one can get close because of the extreme contamination.

>Ibara-senpai!
>We’ve walked so far, so do we really have to stay in the ruins of private homes?
>>You still want a hotel after seeing this, Aoi?

Anime-Koi :: During the daytime, the epicenter is usually surrounded by thick fog, as you can see.
The tiny so-called “hot particles” gather here,
get picked up by the sea breeze, and we see them as fog.
>So the epicenter is still highly contaminated?
That is correct.
Normal humans can’t even approach any closer.

HorribleSubs :: For most of the day,
the epicenter is surrounded by this thick fog.
This is actually a cluster of fine particles
known as “hot particles”
that have been swept up by the sea breeze
to form something that resembles mist.
>Are you saying that this area is still highly contaminated?
Yes. A normal human can’t go anywhere near it.

Anyways, I watched A-K release since it was first, but it’s a hard choice. I like a lot of lines A-K had, but Vivid also had some good ones. (Not sure if they did an Original TL, but it doesn’t look like it.)

Horriblesubs. They’ve had so many grammar and spelling errors on numerous shows it’s astounding. That makes Yuusha, coppelion, and a few other ones I’ve watched from them.

Also, Vivid uses BS11 while A-K uses AT-X so they won’t be faster unless they use same station.

Vanth says:

Ah, I see. In that case I’ll prolly archive their release since BS11’s broadcast quality is superior to AT-X’s.

I’m a sucker for beautiful typesetting so I love anything by Anime-Koi (seriously major kudos to their typesetter) but the consistency of spelling errors and other mistakes I’ve found in their scripts turns me off. “Uninhibited”? Really? I can’t believe they missed that ¬_¬

Not surprising. A lot of the lines seem to be half-vivid, half-vale for what I considered the best choice. 5.00 composite Vivid (7r, 1t, 2n)
