Karaoke.

Opening. It’s sufficient.

Ending. Pretty good.

Goddamn sponsor screen bullshit.

Script Quality

Karaoke.

They didn’t say “zed”; they said “zet”. Know how I can tell? It’s part of the fucking anime’s title. The opening line right here is retarded as well.

When the song is called “dots and lines” and one of the last lines in it references “dotted lines”, perhaps you’d think to translate this as “dotted lines” instead of “dead lines”…

Main Script.

ATTENTION STUPID FUCKS

ITS IS THE POSSESSIVE OF IT

IT’S MEANS IT IS

THIS IS HOW SHIT BREAKS DOWN

GODDAMN

This is a question, isn’t it?

The event happened in the past, so guess which tense to use. No really, go ahead and guess.

I’ll give you a hint: it’s the past tense.

Do -> Did

What a mouthful of fail.

“If you want to figure out what he wants, you’ll just have to wait and see what he does.”

How do you not know how to use a question mark? Really, this is fucking first-grade shit. I’m not even fucking exaggerating.

Tenses are also fucking basic shit. “that thing” died, so use the fucking past tense when describing it.

“That thing wasn’t my brother or anything like that.”

His transformation doesn’t occur based on probability; it’s not like he’s walking around with a .01% chance at every second to transform. Rather, he has to hit 100%. So, it shouldn’t be “higher rate”; it should be “quicker rate”.

Timing Review

Incoming. When “Timing Critique” is added as a category, you’ll know this part is done.

Results.

Watchability: Watchable.

Timing Grade:

Visual grade: B

Script grade: B-

Overall grade (timing results not factored in): B-

It’s about as good as WhyNot’s version, but the visuals are definitely better here. Choose the release of whichever group you like better and you should get a similar experience.

  1. You can’t disguise yourself as human any more than you can disguise yourself as cat.

Quibble: sure you can. “Human” is an adjective there. Consider the sentence “they are human”.

    • I think the line didn’t read naturally though.
“Look and act human” is how I would use “human” as an adjective. “Disguise” is a verb I would use a noun with, so it looks odd to see it with an adjective (might just be me though). I wouldn’t say “Disguise yourself as angry”, though I would say “act angry”.

  2. Finally, a review on something not gay. Was expecting to see you guys review the new Ai no Kusabi next along with the current crop of gay crap being subbed out there.

  3. Thought I was the only one who notice there are no shows for men, and I don’t mean pervie shows or the fag fest coming out of Japan recently.

Haven’t seen Shining Hearts. Have you guys reviewed it? Can’t seem to find a review on it.
