Though I’ve always made season previews for upcoming seasons, I’ve never really revisited my thoughts. I decided to address this by watching 10 episodes of each series this season and comparing my current thoughts to my predictions. So, for Fall 2013 was I right?

Yes.

  1. Excellent:
Kill la Kill – I’m a little passive on this one. It’s fun, but I don’t like excessive fanservice with this kind of anime.
Kyoukai no Kanata – Horribly off.

    Good-ish:
Nagi no Asu Kara – I’d say it hits the mark.
Kyousogiga – I’d personally put it in excellent.
BlazBlue Alter Memory – I expected more from this. Big disappointment.

    Okay:
    Tokyo Ravens – Accurate.
    Walkure Romanze – Garbage.
Samurai Flamenco – Kinda in a love-hate with this one.
Unbreakable Machine Doll – This is pretty fun, despite the obvious pacing errors.
NouCome – I’d have put it one tier higher. Shit’s pretty hilarious.

    Shit:
Strike the Blood – I actually thought it was okay.
Golden Time – Written by Toradora’s author and adapted by J.C. Staff. What were you thinking?

    Sequels:
White Album 2 – Technically not a sequel. It’s also my 2nd favorite this season.
Little Busters – Damn good feels, man. ;_; Not as awesome as it could have been, but it wasn’t bad.

I won’t comment on the others you listed since I haven’t watched them, but I’d say you’re pretty much off on most of your predictions. Better luck next time. :)
