Script Review

Main Script.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_00.27_[2013.10.25_08.22.56]

I can’t even make a joke about immensely being a noun here, since you used “a” instead of “an”. Way to be wrong AND spoil my fun at the same time. Assholes.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_00.36_[2013.10.25_08.23.10]

No, the phrase is “Needless to say”. Y…You can’t just… Holy fuck.

ESLs, listen the fuck up. You have idioms in your first language, right? Okay, so now tell me how good the idioms would sound if someone replaced some of the words with random synonyms.

Lemme flex my Spanish for an example. Take “El verde vaca se floto un placa humano.”, one of the more common Spanish phrases. If we switch “verde” (green) with “verdedero” (super duper green), the sentence becomes “El verdedero vaca se floto un placa humano.” which makes absolutely no sense. Spanish speakers can back me up on that one.

Okay, lecture over. Now one of you hold WhyNot’s editor down and pour some hot sauce down their urethra. Yeah, that’s on you. I’m not gonna risk contracting Downs from them.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_01.44_[2013.10.25_08.24.24]

WhyNot, please show WhyNot why WhyNot’s wrong.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_04.20_[2013.10.25_08.27.13]

Yeah, it’s not the guy’s name, you fucking dipshits.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_04.18_[2013.10.29_15.20.08] [WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_04.23_[2013.10.29_15.20.00]

is, not was.

And per the show, you should just have left it as “Adnimoon”.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_05.46_[2013.10.25_08.29.06] [WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_05.52_[2013.10.25_08.28.54]

Except Kakkii is fucking worthless. How does her sister’s achievement distinguish Kakkii as a descendant? This reflects nothing on her specifically.

“Subtle details like that are what really distinguish you girls as descendants of Galileo.”

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_06.21_[2013.10.25_08.29.52]

Who the fuck does this? I mean, yes, some shitty style manuals consider this acceptable, but only as a standardized replacement for normal ellipses when a sentence ends.

But seeing as how no real standard was followed (being that this is the only four-dot ellipsis in the release), editor-kun simply screwed up.

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_08.18_[2013.10.27_01.31.48]

“More importantly, Hozuki,”

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_08.37_[2013.10.25_08.32.14]

Actually, I think he should have beat you harder.

dad -> Dad

[WhyNot] Galilei Donna - 03 [ECFCA895].mkv_snapshot_10.53_[2013.10.27_00.57.20]

This isn’t Talk Like a Pirate Day, and even if it was, I don’t think she owns a city, let alone enough to not be able to determine where the closest one is off the top of her head.

Watchability: Watchable.

Script grade: B-

Overall grade: B-

I had planned to do another episode 03 review, but goddamn it was too boring to handle another go. Onto episode 4 for reviews.

  1. editor potential ly made a few mistak//es

    QC should’ve caugh t em…

sorry, tired,., also i May or may not be the actual Qc admit nothing, deny everythiNg

    • Oh what, Thursday? Yeah, guess I’ll just move onto something else then. I’m not suffering through ep 3 again. Kakki’s whining was grating.

      • I have a feeling that won’t change for a few episodes until she has her epiphany that only she has the power to find the Tesoro – with her sisters’ help, of course.

  2. “El verde vaca se floto un placa humano.” does not mean anything. At all.

That would be like “The cow green floated itself a plate human”.

I bet you were joking, but if you were not, you should have your Spanish teacher killed.
