Man, Ruri. Sure’s been a while. I was with these guys when they were called Yakuza. Ah, the memories. They weren’t particularly good memories, nor do I actually want to remember those days… In fact, let’s just forget the whole thing ever happened. On with the review~

File size: 231 MB (AVI), 390 MB (MKV)

Japanesiness: Japanese name order. Honorifics.

Karaoke. Fucking loved it. The OP has rain coming down on each syllable as it’s fucking raining in the actual OP. Oh yeah, it got me hooked. The ED was really hard to read though.

Typesetting.

This is not the right way to phrase it.

“I’m sorry if I made you feel bad.” <- or something like that. This is a shitty fix, but it works better.

This line is not right. Although based on the context and wording provided, I have absolutely no clue what the line should say, this does not flow well at all and only serves to confuse a viewer that’s actually reading the subs. I’d have had a TLC look at this just to make sense of it.

I get the reasoning behind this line. She speaks somewhat awkward. However, the “in me in” part is just jarring. Try

“You’re not interested in me that way?” or “You’re not interested in me like that?”

Easy-to-fix comma splice.

I have edited thousands of shitty scripts before, so I know what the TL means here. But goddamn does this line suck and I’m fairly certain the average viewer would be lost at this point.

“I don’t have that much free time.”

It’s “Your Majesty”, not “your Majesty”.

Watchability: Quite watchable. There is likely nothing in these subs that is going to impede you from enjoying the experience of homosexual boys in awkward relationships.

Overall grade: B+

I was with you guys when you were Yakuza and when you were Kurenai. Those groups were quite shitty. Glad to see some old faces doing actual, quality work these days. The ending could use a little work and your editor/QC shouldn’t let shitty lines pass in the name of “literal translations”, but I was surprised to see such a good release, especially when I saw it wasn’t a CR rip.
