Hey, folks! I’m typing this from D_S’s mancave, so this is kinda-sort of a commemorative post for me :3

ED. Mostly good, however here it’s supposed to be egao not negao.
Decided to leave the name of the beetle untranslated. It’s up to you whether that’s hot or not.
Wow, they are the only group that typesetted… more of the other shit that’s on the sheet. I’m impressed.
They actually say “nearly the end of August.” This line suggests that these events are taking place in September.
“They took off my outerwear before I knew it.”
“I have to go in.” Like I said in the DDY review, she wants to join her Onee-sama.
“Why don’t you just say you like me?” This is an important detail.
Forgot the Minami house sign.
“People say I can do it when I try!” You need to add that little detail because it actually sounds more pathetic than just saying “I can do it!”
They didn’t typeset Kana’s notebook page, even though it’s supposed to be hilarious. For example, Kana answered the second question from the top “Who opened the Shoka Sonjuku School and was victimized by the Ansei Purge?” by writing “Not me.”
Similarly, if they typesetted that previous notebook page, then they would know she was talking about all three answers.
“Don’t spoil Kana.”
“People say that I can get it done if I try, Fujioka.”
Not “innocent,” it’s “simple.” And as a wise person said, yes, there is a difference. Plus it’s much more insulting.
Aaand they decided to typeset the house sign here for some reason.
“When I followed what Fujioka said, I did it.”
“What if they had cool-looking boyfriends?”
Nope. It’s supposed to be “A man should be able to make important decisions.”
She ordered a “big steak set,” not a drink.
Chihiro not typesetting the name of the show because shut up, that’s why.
Useless, shitty effects in my subtitles.
That’s not how you italicize.
Final Grade: C
Huge part of that grade is the fact that they didn’t specify that the events were taking place in the latter part of August. Otherwise, the release has a scattering of stupid-ass mistakes which renders it into simply a passable script.
