So, as you may have assumed by the tone, and content, of my recent post on this site, that Ayako did not exactly take it very well. So, for those of you who aren’t me, I’ll give you the opportunity to get a glimpse into what the past 30 hours have been like. If you don’t have much time and wanna skip to the bulk of the drama, I suggest reading only part 3.
Episode 1: Precursor
Infinite Stratos raw is released.
Friend decides that translating Infinite Stratos would be a most excellent idea. I decide that editing Infinite Stratos would also be a ballin’ idea. Perfect situation.
Start pre-timing Infinite Stratos episode 1.
Am informed that the translator is actually timing while I’m pre-timing. Realize I should have asked if I needed to pre-time, and then stare blankly at monitor.
Decide to browse Tosho to see what’s going on. Immediately notice that Ayako released IS. Oh noes, we lost. Well, fuck it. Might as well check to see how well they did. Have no clue what is in store for me.
Am three minutes into Ayako’s release. Can only cry for my beloved English language. Decide to take screenshots of every bit of fail I encounter. Failures such as “vice-homeroom teacher” and terribly-worded sentences are not documented due to me being unable to properly screenshot. For everyone who mentioned that, thank you, I now know how to do it. >_<
Script is ready for editing, so I stop documenting Ayako’s fail and begin editing our script.
[9:10 PM – 10:44 PM]
??? (Fapping while file uploads to the seedbox. My upload is extremely fail.)
Episode is released. I decide to link this site, and begin creating the aforementioned post of drama.
Shit begins to hit the fan.
Did I whet your appetite? Probably not, but it gets better from here on out.
