Awww, man. Denpa’s being subbed by newfags, one and all. The editing in this is slightly better, but I put money on these being guesslations. You’ll see why I think that in a future post. For now, let’s make fun of their editors! This is what happens when Commie doesn’t edit from nearly-perfect Crunchyroll scripts.

OP/ED

School life stories, eh? That’s a new one.

Right now,

“live out his little pride”?!

The fuck is that supposed to be mean?

At least have TL notes if you’re gonna wap this script up.

(ノಥ益ಥ)ノ ┻━┻

*sigh* This whole review business is gonna give me grey hair, I swear…

This was timed with no regard for length. About four screens go by in less than a second. Bad form.

Also, fictious.

Hahaha, no. Nice guesslation, though.

Everyday is an adjective. Durrrrr

Huh?

I wish you guys could see my facial expressions when I watch subs like these. It’s a mixture of sadness, anger, and confusion.

Do you ever get a bad taste in your mouth when you come across something that’s just so fucking terrible? Yeah, I’m tasting it right now.

This sums up Commie.

Well, that clears it up.

small talk

smalltalk is a programming language. ._.

What? Never heard of TL notes for obscure references?

NO! NO! BAD COMMIE! Alright is NOT all right.

Do you not know what a question ends with?

Yes, you sense of duty is very good.

What?

*deep sigh*

Overall grade: C

Commie is a great group when they’re doing piss-easy editing off of already-excellent scripts. But you should never let them work on their own projects.

    • True. Sometimes I forget all the reasons why I screenshot files in the first place. Thanks for being there for me, Blah!

    • You know what? It does seem to be a stylistic choice, upon further reflection. I thought it should be capitalized because it’s a proper place, but I guess it’s perfectly legit to leave it to lowercase. I’m fucking confused as to why that would be, but I’ll chalk it up to stylistic differences.

  1. You shouldn’t make any claims about “guesslations” when you don’t actually know the language and are thus not qualified to comment on the subject of translation accuracy. Stick to what you can actually criticize with some legitimacy.

    • Except I’ve seen the scripts from three other translators and yours is the only version with bullshit about a “million dollars” instead of steel.
